Pathbuilders’ unique approach to professional development, whether in the form of internal mentoring, cross company programs, or organizational consulting, has grown out of the real world experience of our leadership team. Prior to joining Pathbuilders, our leaders were responsible for strategic planning, operations, product development, marketing, innovation, engineering and sales in Fortune 100 companies such as BP, Amoco, Textron, American Express, and Spherion.

That real-world experience, combined with more than 20 years working with organizations and high-potentials, is the foundation for the Pathbuilders approach. Everything we do is based on three primary understandings:

  1. The financial benefits of gender diversity are well documented.
  2. In order for a mentoring program to deliver results for the individual and the organization, it must be formally structured to include strategic matching, participant training, a clearly defined curriculum and continuous check-ins from facilitators.
  3. Organizations increasingly expect people to take charge of their careers but are not equipping them with the skills to do so.

Pathbuilders programs and consulting services are successful because we know what works. In our organization’s more than 20-year history, we have worked with thousands individuals from corporations, government agencies, and higher education.
